metropolitan-church-st-john-baptist
A three-aisled basilica built in 1839 during the episcopate of Metropolitan Eugenios, probably on the site of byzantine church. It was constructed by masons from Epirus, whose symbols (koudaritika) are visible, and contains a secluded area for women (gynaikonitis). The present narthex was built to replace an older wooden one.
